I had the fantastic opportunity to travel back to Toronto, with the help of a very generous friend. It was actually really good to go and experience Canada in the winter, as I could not comprehend the cold temperatures that are a regular occurrence there. The coldest it got whilst I was there was 15 below. I'm really pleased that I acclimatised to the cold almost immediately. I was grateful to be able to still walk around and get under the skin of the city.
My second trip was to Paris. I've never actually been before and I've always wanted to go on my own for the day and do what I love best, which is to wander the streets off the beaten track, almost getting lost and finding hidden treasures. For £69 return on the train, it should never have taken me so long to go! But next time, I'm driving in a van!
