I can't believe it's been well over a year since my last blog!

I couldn't let 2013 end without posting something and since I took my first trip to Canada in October, I've uploaded some pictures of my room at the excellent Drake Hotel. Note the rather naughty cuddly toy's outfit!

The hotel has great bars and an excellent cafe. I hit the bar a little too hard one night, but they did have a great band playing and I met some very generous locals who bought me many, many old fashioned cocktails!

I loved the location on Queen Street West, loads of independent shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. I hope to go back soon to see iwhether this is true of the rest of Toronto.
